Perlman Announces Run For Marlborough City Council

Samantha Perlman is running for a Councilor At-Large seat in Marlborough.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough's city election may not be until November but candidates are coming forward now to get ready to hit the campaign trail through the summer. Marlborough resident Samantha Perlman announced her run for Marlborough's City Council. Perlman is running for one of the Councilor At-Large seats.

Perlman is a Marlborough resident and works at Generation Citizen, a civic education nonprofit in Boston that engages young people in local government. She is a graduate of Marlborough High School and Emory University. Perlman has named civic engagement among youth and affordable housing as well as addressing climate change among her priorities as a candidate.

Marlborough's City Council consists of eleven members, seven "Ward Councilors" individually elected from each of seven wards and from the voters of each ward, and the remaining four "At-Large" members elected by and from the voters of the entire city.

Marlborough's city election will be on November 5 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The last day to register to vote is October 16.
