Plan For I-495 Ramp Closures North, South Of Marlborough

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Commuters may run into detours along I-495 this week during construction projects affecting the I-495 and Route 2 interchange, and a second at the Mass Pike interchange.

According to MassDOT, overnight ramp closures began Sunday night and will last until Friday morning at Route 2. The closures are only happening during overnight hours, between about 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. each night.

On Wednesday, MassDOT will close eastbound exit 106 along the Mass Pike to I-495 for paving work. The closure will last from about 10 p.m. Wednesday until 3 a.m. Thursday.

Drivers will find detour signs in place during both construction projects, according to MassDOT. The Mass Pike detour will take drivers to exit 111 in Framingham to take Route 9 west to I-495.
