UPDATED: Hundreds Without Power in Marlborough
A branch hit a line, and a pole snapped in half, leaving hundreds without power. National Grid is estimating restoring power after 1 p.m.

MARLBOROUGH, MA -- Crews responded shortly before 10:30 a.m. to 328 Hemenway St. for reports of a power outage. According to National Grid, 269 residences were without power at 11:30 a.m. A large branch hit a line to a residence, knocking out power in the area, according to online alerts. National Grid was notified.

At 11:37 a.m., online reports indicated that a pole snapped at 346 Main St. and wires are in the roadway. Power, too, is out in that area. As of 11:48 a.m., 364 residences were without power according to the National Grid Power Outage Map.National Grid estimates restoration of services by 1:15 p.m.
