See When Marlborough Will Collect Trash, Recycling In 2022-23

MARLBOROUGH, MA — The Marlborough Department of Public Works this week released the 2022-23 trash and recycling collection calendar, offering residents a view of when collections will happen during the week and around holidays.

Like most municipalities, Marlborough operates on a fiscal calendar, so the annual collection schedule is in effect from July 1 until June 30 annually.

Over the next year, trash collection will be delayed one day due to seven different holidays (including July 4 last week). Those holidays include Labor Day, Columbus/Indigenous People's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President's Day, Easter and Memorial Day. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Year's Day won't affect trash pickup because those holidays don't fall near the traditional Tuesday trash collection day.
