Summer Drama Workshop Registration Is Open!

The River’s Edge Arts Alliance is proud to announce the Summer Drama Workshop is accepting registrations for its four exciting theatre workshops. The workshops are designed especially for area students ranging in age from entering grade one to college-age students. Each drama workshop will culminate with a theater performance from a popular production. Celebrating 28 years of bringing theatre arts education workshops to the Hudson/Marlborough area, the River’s Edge Summer Drama Workshop teaches students about the discipline of acting, singing and dancing as well as visual expression, under the direction of a staff of creative and professional teaching artists. The active and creative workshops strive to incorporate a deep appreciation for the arts, while engaging students in hands-on theater production techniques which help to instill confidence, self-discipline and peer teamwork.

We are thrilled to announce our new Afternoon Workshop series. Each week, there will be a new session of workshops that run after the morning program ends. Parents can register their children for a new afternoon experience each week. Students can participate in just the morning program, just the afternoon program, or both. All workshops will be held at the newly-renovated Assabet Valley Regional High School, right on the border of Hudson and Marlborough.

Workshop classes are held beginning July 5th with a final performance on July 29th. Tuition fees are discounted for members of the River’s Edge Arts Alliance with deeper discounts for members who have more than one child enrolled.
