Marlborough Home Invasion: 3 Suspects On The Loose, Police Say
Police K9 units searched for suspects after a home invasion in Marlborough Tuesday.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Police searched for three suspects in Marlborough early Tuesday afternoon after a home invasion.
A woman called officers to 164 Lincoln St. at 12:30 p.m. when she reported that three men had come into her home with firearms, attempting to rob the house and demanding valuables. When police arrived, two women flagged them down, frantically waving their arms. The three fled; one on foot and the other two in a blue SUV Mercedes with Massachusetts plates. At least one of the suspects was wearing a mask. The vehicle had light front-end damage.
A K9 search of the area ensued, with three area schools put in soft lockdown.

There was also a man, an elderly female and small child inside the apartment when the invasion occurred, said police.
No suspects were located and no arrests were made. Suspects also did not make off with any belongings. Detectives are still investigating. Police do not believe this was a random act based on the fact that witnesses reported seeing the vehicle, its occupants apparently scoping out the house.
