'The Terrible Odor is Back,' And Other Problems You Can Report to the DPW
The city subscribes to the app called SeeClickFix allowing residents to report problems in the town. Do you use it?

This week alone, a resident has reported a missed recycling pickup. Another said there was a pothole worthy of attention on 102 Granger Boulevard. Someone on Slocumb Lane, on March 16, said only, “The terrible odor is back. We need to understand what the is the content of this order. We need a GS-MS profile to understand what we are breathing. This could be toxic and we are not aware.”
The DPW has been urging folks to use the SeeFlickFix App, which allows residents to post issues, which are made public, and the DPW posts its responses and courses of action.

According to the company, SeeClickFix is “a communications platform for citizens to report non-emergency issues, and governments to track, manage, and reply--ultimately making communities better through transparency, collaboration, and cooperation.”
According to local blogger Brittany Murphy, the DPW launched the app last May, and there are no “real trends” yet because the app is so new to the city.
