Thomas Clardy Memorial 5K Run Planned Day Of HudsonFest

The run, in honor of State Trooper Clardy, takes place the same day as HudsonFest.

HUDSON, MA—The community is helping everyone to remember a man who dedicated his life to his family and to public service. A 5K run and walkto honor the memory of Trooper Thomas Clardy, who was killed when a car crashed into him during a traffic stop on the Mass. Pike last year, is being planned to run in conjunction with HudsonFest.

Proceeds of the race will benefit the Trooper Thomas Clardy Memorial Scholarship Fund, which, in turn, supports scholarships for college bound seniors at Hudson High School.

When the race is over, everyone is urged to participate in in HudsonFest, Hudson’s Annual Community Festival, which is held in downtown Hudson, just a mile from Hudson High School. HudsonFest features of sidewalk sales and family entertainment from a wide variety of local vendors.

Runner Awards: Top overall Male & Female plus The Top 3 Male & Female in the following age groups:
(17 & under), (18-29), (30-39), (40-49), (50-59), and (60+)
Mighty Mite Marathon: Participation ribbons.
