Trash Pickup Delayed This Week

Notice that your trash is still sitting at the end of the driveway?

That’s because the city’s solid waste and recycling collection is delayed by one day this week, due to the blizzard (remember that?).

Pickup will occur on Saturday, Jan. 31. Trash should be outside by 7 a.m.

“We understand that trying to place carts curbside is going to be difficult at best. Residents should try to shovel a place for them if possible. If not, they should place their carts at the bottom of their driveway. Please do not obstruct the roadway with the carts. After collection, we ask residents bring their carts in as soon as possible. We are still clearing snow and having the containers removed right away will greatly assist us.”
