MARLBOROUGH, MA — Summer is around the corner and Marlborough's recreation department is urging residents to take advantage of the city's outdoor offerings. A new promotional video made by the department was rolled out on Monday alongside the hashtag #BeMarlboroughActive.

The video features a birds-eye-view of the high school football field and Fort Meadow Reservoir. Shots are interspersed with cuts from the skate park and splash area at Ward Park and kids enjoying the spray pad at Ghiloni Park.

The Marlborough Recreation department offers summer sports programs and a "Project Summer Adventure" program that takes kids on different day trips for seven weeks throughout the summer.
