7 Oak Bluffs Restaurant Inspection Reports Released on Web
What's going on in the kitchens of Oak Bluffs restaurants? The town's food inspector has been looking behind the scenes and you can read his reports here.

The town of Oak Bluffs has posted seven recent restaurant inspections online, after Board of Health inspector Ron Tolin visited Fat Ronnie's Burger Bar, Farm Neck Café, Island House, the Lampost, Lobsterville Bar & Grille, Martha's Vineyard Gourmet Bakery Café (Back Door Donuts) and the concession stands at the Martha's Vineyard Sharks ballpark.

Fat Ronnie's Burger Bar: inspected 6/24. Instructed to empty ice machine during water ban and to close a crawlspace in the basement area.
Farm Neck Café: Inspected 7/1 and again 7/8 to confirm the restaurant had corrected five problems found by inspector Ron Tolin on his first visit:
- "Temperature logs not current"
- "Reorganize food placement in walk-in" (refrigerator)
- "Cutting boards have grooves, replace or sand if possible"
- "Hand wash facility has dirty scrubber and chemical bottle"
- "Floor under equipment has old food residue and old debris"
Island House: Inspected July 5. "Receiving logs not up to date" was the only violation marked, with a note that the manager would explain to the chef that the logs must be current.
Lampost (food from Skinny's Fat Sandwiches, which was inspected and approved in March): Inspected June 28. No violations.
Lobsterville Bar & Grille: Inspected July 7 with three violations found.
- "No sign in bathroom"
- "No disposable towels in raw bar HW sink"
- "No thermometer in kitchen cooler"
Martha's Vineyard Sharks (concession stands at ball park): Inspected June 11, no violations.
