Graduating seniors from Martha's Vineyard Regional High School received more than $900,000 worth of scholarships at Friday's rainy but spirited Class Night ceremony at the Oak Bluffs Tabernacle. Graduation is today at 1:30, also at the Taberna
Graduation exercises for the Martha's Vineyard Regional High School class of 2013 begin at the Tabernacle in Oak Bluffs at 1:30 p.m. today.
Clear skies and balmy temperatures are predicted for commencement, a pleasant change from Friday, when seniors and their families had to brave a drenching storm to take part in Class Night at the Tabernacle.
Nearly 500 scholarships totaling more than $900,000 were funded this year. The dollar amount is the highest in the scholarship program's history, school officials said.
