Sudal, of whom People magazine posed the question, "World's Sexiest Shark Wrangler?" was surf fishing on Nantucket’s south shore near Nobadeer Beach when he "accidentally hooked a young great white shark," according to Surfer.com.

Sudal quickly let the shark go as it is a protected species, WPRIreported.

"In the video, Sudal climbs onto the back of the shark, secures the fish in the surf, and removes the hook from its mouth," the WPRI story said. "By the end of the short video, the shark is back in the water."
