Bomb Threat Directed At Martha's Vineyard Airport

Flights in and out of Martha's Vineyard Airport were halted after a bomb threat.

MARTHA'S VINEYARD, MA — Martha's Vineyard Airport has reopened following a bomb threat Tuesday morning. The threat was called in by phone around 6 a.m.

No flights went into or out of the island until it reopened around 9:30 a.m. The airport was swept by a bomb-sniffing dog, according to State Police spokesman David Procopio.

No injuries were reported.
