The Vineyard Haven Public Library will host author Saloma Furlong as she gives her talk: Why I Left the Amish, on Tuesday, September 6th, at 7pm.  Ms. Furlong will tell what it was like to be Amish and her feelings about leaving the culture and beliefs of the Amish people.
