Cooking Through Cultures: Brasilian & Portuguese Cooking

In collaboration with Adult and Community Education of Martha's Vineyard, the Museum gives you the opportunity to explore culture through cuisine.

Join Elton Nascimento as he prepares bacalhau, a dish made with salted cod that has its roots in both Portuguese and Brasilian cuisine. Elton Nascimento grew up in Curitiba, a city near the coast in southern Brazil. He moved to the Island as a young adult bringing cooking influences from both Portuguese and Brasilian cultures with him.

$35 (plus a $10 material fee that goes to the instructor). Sign up for the series of five classes for $135, and save $40. Museum members, MVYPS staff, and seniors, take an additional 10% off on the series or each class.
