In collaboration with Adult and Community Education of Martha's Vineyard, the Museum gives you the opportunity to explore culture through cuisine.
Explore two different traditions of Jewish cooking. Lori Shaller will teach the Ashkenazic tradition (originating in Spain, Portugal and the Mediterranean) while Ljuba Davis will focus on Sephardic (originating in Eastern Europe). Lori Shaller is a teacher at both the Martha’s Vineyard Public Charter School and the Martha’s Vineyard Hebrew Center. She has long studied Jewish cooking. Friend Ljuba Davis, a musician originally from Berkeley, CA, specializes in Sephardic tradition from Eastern Europe.
