Digital Connectors IT training and DIgital Literacy Returns to Alex's Place

Digital Connectors is an important program for teens. In its second year at Alex's Place, this Comcast sponsored program runs throughout the school year, meeting twice weekly. Students who attend will learn Information Technology, Computer Applications, Digital Responsibility, Financial Literacy and have the chance to become CISCO certified.

Digital Connectors is offered at no cost to students. There is an interview process and and application. Since there is limited enrollment, decisions will be based upon the application and interview process and the students willingness/ability to attend classes twice weekly for eight months. In addition, student need to complete 56 hours of documented community service.

Application are available at the Y member desk and at Alex's Place during regular hours. For more information please contact Ray Whitaker at 508 - 693 - 1676 or by email at punkwilliker@gmail.com
