Noted Boston painter Robert Baart and New Orleans fabric collage artist Wanda Wiggins will be at the Dragonfly Gallery on Saturday Aug 13th from 4 - 7 pm to talk with visitors about their work. Their visit takes place during the ARTS District August Stroll. The exhibit runs from 8/11 through 8/17, 11 - 6 daily.
Baart recently retired from teaching at the SMFA in Boston after 35 years. He works in multiple mediums and his paintings are highly collected.
Wiggins lives in New Orleans and creates magical fabric collage figures of women using imported Kenyan cloths. This is her first New England show.
