A Rapper with a positive message. Sounds like an oxymoron but indeed it is true. CHIEF SWAGG is a rapper fresh to the island from Oklahoma. Swagg is Native American (Wampanoag of Aquinnah) who's talent for positive lyrical messages encourages a drug - free, positive lifestyle will make his first Vineyard appearance since returning from Okla. The concert at THE BASE (Teen Center performing arts club) marks the beginning of our summer concert series and will also feature DJ Jai who will spin tunes for the rapper and a dance to follow.
Proceeds will benefit the YOUNG BROTHERS TO MEN group who will journey to Philadelphia, PA to meet with our brother group NEIGHBORHOODS FIRST who make an annual pilgrimage from the city to the Vineyard.
