Fifteen gears after it was founded, Vineyard Vines is in a lot more places than just Martha's Vineyard, Connecticut and the Hamptons.
According to a recent Forbes article, the now-national Vineyard Vines brand of apparel is sold online, in more than 30 retail shops and about 600 boutiques and department stores around the country.
At this rate, the brand's friendly-pink-whale logo — seen on ties, shorts, polo shirts, belts and just about anything else you can put a smiling pink whale on —is enroute to rivaling the iconic Izod lizard.
