Frugal Family: Sales on Clothes, Shopping and Housewares

This week, we scoured our local sources to come up with great President's Day deals on shoes, clothing and housewares.

Deal: The Laughing Bear is holding a storewide sale: 20 to 50 percent off items in the front of the store, 50 to 60 percent off items in the sale section, and 10 percent off additional items, such as cards.

Deal: All Black Dog stores on the Island are offering a variety of sale items through the end of the day.

Deal: Bramhall & Dunn is holding its annual White Sale, with prices 30 to 50 percent off. Additional clothing items are 30 to 75 percent.

Deal: Soft as a Grape is celebrating its new location on Circuit Ave. with a sale on all Martha's Vineyard logo gear, including sweaters, sweats and T-shirts.
