Giordano's Reopens, Matches Customers' 'One Fund' Donations

The popular Oak Bluffs pizzeria combined its seasonal reopening with a fund-raiser for Boston Marathon bombing victims.

Martha's Vineyard restaurants have been doing their part to help the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings, according to social media updates.

Giordano's Restaurant & Clam Bar in Oak Bluffs posted on Facebook last night,

"Thanks to all those that came out for opening weekend. It was great to see so many familiar faces and get back into the swing of things.

A special thanks to those that donated to The One Fund. It is because of you that we were able to contribute $563 to the victims of this terrible tragedy.

The Giordano Family will match that donation for a total contribution of $1,126. We are so proud to be part of this generous Island community."

The Black Dog is selling a limited-edition "Boston Strong" dog treat for $2 with all proceeds to the fund.
