Good "Newes" for St. Patrick's Day: Edgartown Parade Returns
Get ready for the Vineyard's shortest, greenest parade in celebration of St. Patrick's Day 2013. Kelley Street will be closed for an hour starting at 11:30 a.m. March 17.

After last year's successful debut of a downtown Edgartown parade on St. Patrick's Day, the Kelley House and Newes from America Pub have received town permission to bring the event back again on March 17, 2013.
The parade will start at 11:45 a.m. at Main and Dock streets and follow a two-block route along Dock to Kelley Street and the Newes.
Edgartown selectmen Monday approved closing Kelley Street from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to accommodate the festivities, which last year included face painting, an open mic limerick contest and live music.
