Health Fair Offers Free Screenings and a Yoga Class
The annual Martha's Vineyard Hospital event brings together medical professionals and complimentary service providers for health screenings, massages and acupuncture.

Dozens of healthcare and human service providers will line the halls of the Island Saturday morning to show off their skills and services at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital Health Fair. The annual event takes place from 8 a.m. to noon.
More than 20 participants have signed up to participate, among them: Vineyard Complimentary Medicine, Curves, MV Whole Health Alliance, Island Hospice and the Boys & Girls Club. The Tooth Fairy will also make a gift-giving appearance.
The fair is more than a who’s-who of service providers. Dr. Michael Jaff will kick off the event with a 9 a.m. presentation on vascular health. At 10 a.m., Drs. Linda Stewart and Daniel Pesch of the hospital’s Obstetrics & Gynecology department will discuss minimally invasive techniques in women’s health care. Sacred Circle of Yoga will lead a free class at 11 a.m.
