Oak Bluffs Police End Live Auctions for Unclaimed Items
Starting in June, you'll be able to bid online for items left unclaimed in the Oak Bluffs Police property room for a year or more, according to the department's Facebook page.
Oak Bluffs police are taking their unclaimed-property auctions online, according to a Wednesday update on the police department's Facebook page:
"The Oak Bluffs Police Department has contracted with www.propertyroom.com, an online auction company, to sell unclaimed items that have been in our storage room for over one year.
These items include bicycles, cameras, jewelry, clothing and electronics.

This will be an ongoing process and there will no longer be live, in person auctions held in Oak Bluffs.
We will begin sending these items for auction this June of 2013."
