Self-guided tour of private Chilmark Garden plus rhododendron lecture on May 28th.

What: The Garden Conservancy's Open Days Program
Explore Blueberry Ridge garden in Chilmark, open to the public for self-guided tours to benefit the Garden Conservancy. No reservations required; rain or shine. Featuring more than 1,200 rhododendrons, Japanese maples, and hydrangeas, plus additional collections of mountain laurel, epimediums, and tree peonies, and sweetgum trees.
When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Blueberry Ridge Garden, 19 Blueberry Ridge Lane, Chilmark, MA

At their peak bloom and fragrance, Peter will introduce participants to many of Charles Owen Dexter’s spectacular rhododendron hybrids, and tell the fascinating story of this individual and the efforts to preserve his creations.
