Pathways Projects 2015 Season Finale and Honoraria Awards to Island Artists for Innovation in the Arts
Pathways celebrates local artists, musicians and writers with an evening of performance and Honorarium Awards for the creation of new work.
Please join us as Pathways celebrates artists, writers, musicians, and performers for innovative projects across island, and sister organizations for sustained programs, or the launch of new projects.

Throughout this awards evening, artists, writers and performers:

Roberta Kirn,
Annette Sandrock,
… and others present selected original music, poetry and digital media, with celebratory community support.
An excerpt of new music composed by Tony Tobia will be performed by pianist Adele Dreyer, Violinist Atzic Marquez, and baritone saxophonist Steve Tully.
Organizations to be honored include Featherstone Center for the Arts for Pathways / Featherstone Summer Festival of Poetry; The Yard: David White, for choreography residencies; Justen Ahren’s Noepe Literary Center, amongst others.
Individual visual artists, dancers and musicians, videographers, poets and writers will be honored with 2015 Pathways Honorarium support for the creation of new works, to be shared with the community at Pathways Living Room Studios next season and across island year round. Arts programs supported at sister organizations will be presented through their home venues.
Recipients of 2014 Awards include Roberta Kirn, Anthony Benton Gude, Marston Clough, Andrew Cody Jephcote, Shannon Rynd-Ray, Gabrielle Whitcombe. Melanie Sroka-Chaunce, Christina Montoya, Fae Kontje-Gibbs, Lee H. McCormack, Nancy Aronie, Jon Baer, Danielle Malcahy, Jesse Keller, Niki Patton, Gwyn McAllister, Carlos Montoya, Kristin Henriksen, Matt Stamas, Dean Rosenthal, Alex Karalekas, and many others.
Pathways Living Room Studios, at The Chilmark Tavern, is open seasonally from November through April, as a dedicated place for artists and writers to generate new work. Each season begins late fall, with seed projects that build through winter to in depth individual and collaborative showings. The April perennial Spring IMAGINE ARTS festival and Pathways Honoraria Awards celebrate works as they emerge at moments of fruition.
