• Rochester Firefighters Battle Fire at Harvey Recycling Facility (newbedfordguide.com) — Mattapoisett firefighters were automatically called for mutual aid when a fire broke out Monday morning at the Harvey Recycling facility in neighboring Rochester, though their response was canceled once the blaze was contained. Rochester crews, aided by quick action from facility staff, knocked down the smoldering aluminum fire within 20 minutes, highlighting close regional cooperation that also includes Marion.
