Marty is a 9-month-old black & tan dapple Dachshund who has already had 2 homes. The first family re-homed him because he growled at their toddler when she pulled his tail. His second family reluctantly gave him up after only 3 months because their landlord said they couldn't have 2 dogs. He got along great with their female Doxie mix. He loves squeaky toys and leash walks. He is housebroken, but used pee pads when his family was at work since that is too long for him to hold it. He is a fun-loving, playful and very friendly little guy, but can be protective of his food. Our trainer is working with him on that and he is really starting to understand. He lived with a 12 year old in his last home. He is still a puppy and does need training and exercise. He is very sweet and likes to sit in laps. Please call 508 359-8989 or send an e-mail to info@medfieldshelter.com if you are interested in adopting Marty.
