Jesus was thinking about you while He hung on the cross.
Time is not linear for God. He sees all of eternity at once. God knew you before you were formed in your mother’s womb and He knows when you’ll join Him in heaven. On the night of His arrest, Jesus prayed for all who would ever believe in Him. He prayed for you. As Jesus suffered on the cross for the sins of all people for all time, He was thinking about you.

Jesus endured the cross because He loves you.
Sin separated people from the Father, and that was unacceptable. God created us to be in loving relationship with Him. Separation just wouldn’t do. So God became human, demonstrated His character in life and the intensity of His love for us in death, and removed our sin by His sacrifice. We can now be in intimate relationship with the Father without guilt or shame.
