Shortly before 8 am Lieutenant Neil Kingsbury, FF/EMTP Brian Syrett and FF/EMTP Nick Andexler responded to our first ALS call which was for chest pain. The patient was transported to the Norwood Hospital without incident.
For the past several years, the Medfield Fire Department has offered Basic Life Support (BLS), with our mutual aid neighbors providing ALS services. Over the past three months five new paramedics were hired with the last coming on-board in the beginning of November. We are now
operating with four – three man shifts at the ALS level.
