Annual Yard Sale to Support The Center at Medfield Goes Virtual!

The Annual Yard Sale held each year at The Center at Medfield to support activities of Medfield’s Council on Aging was cancelled due to COVID-19.But good news, yard sale items that had been donated prior to the cancellation will be offered for sale ONLINE beginning October 1, 2020.

This special event has grown over the years to be the major fundraising activity of the year for our seniors. And it was a much anticipated event, as evidenced by the line of people waiting to come into the Center each year when the doors opened.

Medfield COA Director Roberta Lynch emphasizes how much the COA relies on community support for the Yard Sale each year. “Our success is not possible without the donations we receive and the purchases made. It is the ongoing public support that allows us to have a great sale each year and to offer so many services to our seniors even during a pandemic!”

But, this year is different so please take a few moments to look at the items being offered for sale. Once you agree to purchase an item, you will receive instructions on how to pick it up at The Center at Medfield, One Ice House Road during normal business hours.

Payment must be in the form of cash or check payable to “FOSI”.
