Famous local artist and Westwood resident Thomas Dunlay will be at Accents by Lovell on Saturday, November 8th from 1:30 – 4:00 p.m.

Mr. Dunlay is most well-known for his Boston and Nantucket prints. He also paints local subjects like “The Old” Norwood High School and “Norwood Town Square with Skater.” Mr. Dunlay will be available for signing opportunities.

Mr. Dunlay says of the work displayed on his website (see link below); “These prints are brought to you through years of experimenting and perfecting fine art printing techniques and technologies.” According to his website, “This renowned artist has been depicting the everyday life and scenery of Boston and other New England treasures for over thirty years. Introduced to painting at an early age by his father, Thomas went on to train under the traditional discipline of “The Boston School.” His search for sound training first led him to study with Robert Douglas Hunter in Boston and Provincetown and then to the atelier of R.H. Ives Gammell, Hunter’s own teacher. Dunlay studied with Gammell in Boston and, during the summer, in Williamstown from 1973 through 1979. Thomas currently serves as president of the Guild of Boston Artists and over the course of his career has earned national recognition for his talent and skill. “
