Several nearby towns have recently made significant progress in planning for or completing recreational paths for walkers, strollers, joggers and cyclists along former rail corridors. The Friends of Medfield Rail Trail is looking to have Medfield follow suit and this begins with building local support.
The meeting will include background information on efforts to date and the prospects for the Medfield Rail Trail, as well as a speaker from the Bay Colony Rail Trail Association (BCRTA) who will talk about their recent successful experience creating a 1.7 mile trail in Needham.
