Big Blue Tournament Champs
The Medfield High School Boys' Basketball Team defeated host Hanover 67-65 to win the 2014 Ed Amaral Tournament.
Senior Captain Sean Conroy (Tournament MVP) and Senior Jack Cadigan (Tournament All Star) led the Big Blue to its third straight victory by defeating Hanover 67-65 in the final game of the annual Hanover Holiday Tournament. Medfield is now 3-3 overall and will host Hopkinton Friday night to continue league play.
The Big Blue defeated Norwell in the first game of the tournament 62-56. Junior Jack Madej led the team with 19 points. Cadigan chipped in with 11 points while Chris McGrory and John Williams both had 8.
In the final game against Hanover Conroy scored 20 points including 6 three pointers. Cadigan and Williams each played well contributing 16 points apiece.
