Boston Red Sox Trophy visits Medfield Police/Fire Station!

There were some surprised looks on the faces of our local Medfield Police officers and Firefighters this morning, when the Boston Red Sox Trophy made a quick visit!

The Red Sox Trophy travels across Massachusetts and New England spreading cheer to local communities as a way of saying "thank you" to Red Sox fans; and today, the Medfield Police and Fire Station was the recipient of such a visit.

Police Chief Bob Meaney, and Fire Chief Bill Kingsbury were at the station to greet the Red Sox Trophy handlers and they, along with fellow Police officers and Firefighters, Retired Chief Mann, his wife Elisabeth, and a few other lucky visitors had an opportunity to pose with the Trophy and get their photo taken.

Let's hope that this Red Sox Trophy visit to Medfield brings good luck to the  Red Sox and they go on to have another winning season!
