Medfield Animal Shelter Featured Pet for the Week for November 19, 2012

Banjo is a very sweet older dog looking for a home. Every week the Medfield Animal Shelter features one of the pets currently available for adoption..

Meet Banjo

Banjo was given up because his owner lost his home and was unable to find a situation to move into where Banjo was welcome. He is 10 years old, but acts more like he's 4.  He is very friendly, playful and lively and loves to go for walks. His tail is always wagging and he loves to give kisses. He seems to know some commands such as Sit and Paw. All he wants is to find another quiet place to relax in his golden years where he and that special someone can hang out.  Since he hasn't lived with kids, we will only place him in a home with kids ages 12 and up.  He doesn't seem to be very fond of other dogs, so he does need to be the only dog in his next home. He will make a loyal and loving companion for someone.

If you are interested in adopting a dog, please fill out our dog adoption application. Banjo's adoption fee is $100. Every dog we place is vaccinated, wormed, treated for ticks/fleas, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We send each dog home with a collar, leash and food.
