Farewell to a part of Medfield history....."Discover Medfield History Day" trolley tour, narrated by Town Historian, Richard DeSorgher.

The 25th and final MEMO "Discover Medfield History Day" narrated by Richard DeSorgher was on Saturday, June 10th and what was supposed to be a Trolley tour, became a School Bus tour, due to the overwhelming turnout and number of ticket sales!
Richard DeSorgher's final tour was a very full tour with an agenda of "68 people/places" to mention in each of his one-hour tours (from 9am - 2pm)!

The tours, sponsored by MEMO, Needham Bank and Rockland Trust, began at Hinkley Pond and once the final tour returned to that spot, a special thank you was bestowed upon DeSorgher. Richard received a miniature replica of the Town Clock (created by Electric Time) and Pete Peterson and Gus Murby, two of the Board of Selectmen, read a "Proclamation" of appreciation to Richard (text below). Richard was humbled by this outpouring of appreciation and love from the people of Medfield....all who will greatly miss him.
