MHS Class Day 2023 was held on Friday, June 2nd, with the graduating senior class in their blue graduation gowns and class advisors, Mrs. Worthley and Mrs. Lodge leading the procession into the MHS gymnasium.
In addition to giving out Departmental Awards and Special Recognitions, this day also recognizes new members to be added to the MHS Hall of Excellence. This year, Bob Meaney and Bill Kingsbury, two members of the 1972 Medfield HS graduation class, were chosen and honored.
Former MHS Social Studies teacher and former Medfield Select Board member, Richard DeSorgher did the honors of introducing his friends, Bob and Bill. He went into detail about what Medfield looked like on Graduation day 1972. More specifically, he spoke of all the many changes that have happened in this Town over these past 50 years.
