Clean Energy Signs Around Medfield!

Many Medfield residents have taken steps to lower their carbon footprint with small sustainable actions like recycling or composting food scraps to larger investments like installing solar panels on their roofs, installing heat pumps or driving electric vehicles. Residents are working together to reach Medfield’s Net Zero 2050 Goal.

The Medfield Energy Committee (MEC) with the help of Medfield Environment Action (MEA) is running a Lawn Sign Project. This is an effort to recognize larger impactful decarbonizing actions and those who have done them. It also publicizes to neighbors that those with signs have already gone through the process of adopting the “green” technology and are eager to answer questions and share their experiences.

Have you seen any signs around your neighborhood? Have you been thinking about installing solar panels or heat pumps but wanted to talk to someone about the process? Would you like to purchase an electric vehicle when it is time for a new car but do not know where to start? Maybe one of your neighbors just bought an electric vehicle and could tell you all about their experience. There are three different lawn signs which Medfield residents have recently displayed.
