COA and FOSI's Annual Yard, Bake and Book Sale...

It’s That Time of Year Again!

Medfield's Biggest and Best Annual Yard, Bake & Book Sale is scheduled for Saturday, April 27th from 8am - 2pm at The Center at Medfield.

Start planning now for this premiere Friends of Medfield Seniors (FOSI) and the Medfield Council on Aging (COA) Yard, Bake and Book Sale at The Center at Medfield.

The FOSI-sponsored fundraiser will support the programs and needs of the Medfield Council on Aging.

This special event has grown over the years to be the major fundraising activity of the year for
our seniors. And it is a much anticipated event, as evidenced by the line of people waiting to
come into the Center each year when the doors open. Medfield COA Director Roberta Lynch
emphasizes how much the COA relies on community support for the Yard Sale each year. “Our
success is not possible without the donations we receive. It is the ongoing public support that
allows us to have a great Sale each year.”

Many contributors have come to count on the annual COA Yard Sale as an opportunity to donate
items they’ve been saving specifically for the Sale. Many residents even set aside a box which
they designate as their “COA Yard Sale Box” and use it to collect items throughout the year that
go directly to the sale. It’s that kind of dedication and reliability that make the Yard Sale such a
great fundraising event.

That’s why residents are encouraged to donate items that can be sold at the Yard Sale. With
your help, we should be able to accumulate more than enough items so we can have the best
Yard Sale ever. And it’s important to remember that the proceeds from this event will be
earmarked for COA programs and events, like the summer cookouts, as well as the building
expansion fund.

Yard Sale items can be dropped off at the Center beginning Friday, April 19th between 8:30am - 1pm and during regular business hours the following week until 11am on Friday before the sale.

We accept and appreciate all gently used items except for computers, printers and clothing. Unique items are always appealing to our shoppers. Be a part of this great event and help the Medfield COA at the Center at Medfield, on April 27th from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, rain or shine. Support FOSI, which supports the COA, and make this the best Yard Sale ever!
