Dwight-Derby House celebrates holidays with visit from Santa/3of3
Each year the historic town-owned home offers a bucolic backdrop for holiday photos
Each year, as part of Medfield's annual Holiday Stroll, the historic Dwight-Derby House offers free photos with Santa Claus in front of its bucolic fireplace. At the annual event, guests were welcomed by members of the Friends of the Dwight-Derby House and encouraged to walk through the historic home, enjoy refreshments, and browse the DDH Holiday Shoppe which featured items by local artists.
After the event, Santa reported this year's wish lists included everything from a puppy and a gorilla (real or stuffed) to Star Wars Legos and a Tesla coil - among many other items. He expressed special thanks to those families who arrived with detailed lists and photos in hand.
