Erin Seibel Leads Medfield Field Hockey with 3 Goals in Bellingham

The Medfield High School Field Hockey Team is now 2-1 after a 5-1 victory at Bellingham on Friday afternoon. Sophomore Erin Seibel had 2 unassisted goals and another goal assisted by Senior Captain Tess Beardsley. Junior Sophie Tom scored as well assisted by Senior Captain Anna Pagliarulo. The 5th goal was an unassisted goal scored by Junior Kate Slowe. Playing well for the Warriors were Sophie Griffin at right mid and Goalie Jordan Wietrecki.

The Warriors won their opening game at home against Ashland 3-2. TessBeardsley assisted on all 3 goals. Scoring the goals were Sophie Tom with 2 and Erin Seibel with the game winner.

The lone loss for the Warriors came at Westwood 2-1. Kate Slowe scored for Medfield on a penalty stroke.

The Medfield High School Field Hockey Team will be on the road for three games this week. Tuesday at Notre Dame of Hingham, Wednesday at Medway, and at Hopkinson on Friday.

The Warriors are led this year by Senior Captains Tess Beardsley, Anna Pagliarulo, Naomi Lau
