Fortieth Week, Friday's "Medfield Historical Minute"
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis.

A Medfield Historical Minute...
This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.
"In 1998 after years of planning and delay, the library, town hall and post office construction projects were all completed. The new Memorial Public Library reopened in May of 1998. The town hall, after more than a year’s delay, due to default of the general contractor, was completed on July 29, 1998, with the school department moving into the new third floor. Thanks to Tom and Brandie Erb of Electric Time, a new Victorian clock was donated and located on the front lawn of town hall. In September, 1998 the new post office, built on town owned land off North Street, was open for business."
