A Medfield Historical Minute...

This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.

"Summer sports in 1889 included boating parties on the “Lazy Charles.” Fishing in the Charles River that year was called the best ever. Croquet and tennis were also popular and baseball at the Pleasant Street lot (site of today's Church of the Advent) attracted many young Medfield men."
