FREE Thistle making workshops Sat. March 28 and Sat. April 11, both from 2 - 4 pm at the Library.
The public is invited to drop in and learn how to make a “Thistle” and take one home to work on if desired. Appropriate for families with children in grades 2 and above. “Thistles” is Medfield’s most ambitious temporary public art project to date - 42 will be installed this spring along Hospital Road and on the front grounds of the Medfield State Hospital to encourage us to re-imagine a new use for the property. Participants can explore artist Catherine Evans’ creative process and track their “Thistle” through installation. Come see what all the fun is about!
