Garden Club Prepares for December 6 Greens' Sale

The Medfield Garden Club is preparing for its annual greens sale to be held on December 6 at the First Parish UU Church, 26 North St. The sale, from 10 a.m. until noon, is one of two fund raising events held to defray expenses incurred for plants for twenty roadside sites and public building planters through out the spring and summer.
At its November meeting the program presented by members Debbie Gaines of Norfolk, Greens’ Sale 2014 Chairman; Medfield residents Eve Potts, Ginny Moran and Loretta Carrigan focused on how to make boxwood trees, center pieces, small gift items and basket decorations. Workshops to prepare the sale inventory were held weekly throughout November and will be daily in the final week before December 6.
The sale, a Medfield holiday tradition for many years, will also feature wreaths, swags, kissing balls and miscellaneous decorative and gift type items and is open to the public
