Hannah Adams Woman's Club Class Of 2023 Graduation Tea
The Hannah Adams Woman's Club is the oldest continuously running women's club in the United States, formally organized in 1894 in honor of Hannah Adams, a Medfield resident who ran a similar group during her lifetime (1755-1831). Among other activities, the club raises funds for scholarships awarded for continuing education upon completion of high school.
In 1968, The Hannah Adam's Woman's Club began the practice of honoring young women at a Graduation Tea for Medfield senior girls at Medfield High School and the Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School.
This practice has continued without interruption through 2019, however because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Tea was cancelled during the school years 2020 and 2021.

This year the Tea was hosted at the home of Mrs. Melissa Ross on Tuesday, May 30th.
The Graduation Tea has become part of the festivities surrounding commencement. The girls are invited to the home of one of their classmates for a High Tea served by members of the club. The Hannah Adams Woman's Club enjoys its role as hostess to wish our young women the very best as they begin their college years and move towards their future careers.
