HipStory House Party Coming To Bellforge Arts Center
HipStory and the Bellforge Arts Center are partnering to bring a free Juneteenth concert to Medfield on Saturday, June 18, from 12:00-7:00pm. The HipStory House Party will feature Luke Bar$, Forté, Ballad, ToriTori, and DJ Mojo, among other artists.
“We are excited to bring our flagship activation HipStory House Party to the Bellforge & Medfield community. It means a lot to have platforms like this that allow us to connect with new audiences,” says Tim Hall, HipStory Co-owner.
The one day festival will offer not only a great line up of hip hop artists, but also vendors, food trucks, and a full bar, all at the site of the new Bellforge Arts Center on the former Medfield State Hospital campus. Free tickets and more information can be found online at bit.ly/BellforgeHipStory. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the outdoor concert.

HipStory is a Boston-based collective of artists & media production professionals dedicated to centering marginalized identities in media through music and film. They create art through music and film production, audio and video services, and event curation. Their mission exists because systems of oppression have historically erased, changed, and appropriated the culture of people of color. Media has become the catalyst for both oppressive and activist movements, and their focus is one of action and intentional placement of marginalized identities, stories, and bodies in media through music and film.
HipStory House Party is just one of many free concerts, festivals, and events organized by Bellforge for the summer. For more information about the Bellforge Arts Center, including a schedule of upcoming programs and events, please visit www.bellforge.org.
